Now this is a picture for third edition. Admittedly the only one I have in my collection is 2nd edition revised.
But it still gets the point across.
BESM, which stands for Big Eyes Small Mouth is an Anime RPG. The game itself is set to be played in any Anime universe, whether original, or canon. It's a relatively simple game with only 2 D6s being needed for play, and everything focusing around three stats. Mind, Body, and Soul. Sounds like a song to me. Now Badger first introduced me to the system. Well he didn't introduce so me so much as regaled me with stories of his time playing the game. It was quite amusing, so much so that when given the opportunity to buy it, I did not hesitate. I've already got big plans for this game. It's easy, it's simple, and even a complete idiot can understand this game.
It has the potential for alot, and I mean ALOT, of comedy. To me the entire game seems to be a complete mockery of the Anime genre. The fact that I love making fun of anime, made this immediately appealing.
So this game is awesome. If you get the chance to get it, do so.
