So last night I was given Final Fantasy XIII as a gift by a friend of mine. Yes, I realize this game has been out for months. Yes, I realize that XIV is already out. Yes, I realize you all suck. You see, despite the Classic Gaming Project I'm not a video gaming nerd. The CGP is Nostalgic to me, and if anything I'm a Nostalgia nerd.
So I thought, I play alot of games an hour in before I doom them. I know it's not a fair chance, but I'm Lee. I'm fickle like that. So here is my one hour review of FFXIII.
I run, I switch characters, I press one button to fight.
It's a storybook in game format. I see no strategy and there are no consequences for any choices I make. Simple because I have usually one choice, Go this way, as my path is frequently blocked by falling debris. Overall it's an engaging enough story and it has the FF name on it, so I may keep with it. However, if it keeps me at this death trap pit for ten more chapters I'm going to kill someone.
Well that's my short review for my short time playing the game.
