Okay, I've realized that I have way too many White Wolf books and the rest of my books aren't really THAT obscure. So I've decided to mix it up a bit and provide myself with some leeway (Get what I did there?). So I'm going to write about characters from games I've run that I believe needed special mention.
So here it is.
Character name: Maxwell Ashford
Game: Vampire: The Requiem
Chronicle: Voodoo Road
Player: Badger
Theme Song: Puttin' On the Ritz-Taco
Race: Vampire
Type: Nosferatu
Why they are awesome:
Well it may just the character's backstory, or it may be a single action, but to me it is a little bit of both.
First off, the player(Badger) somehow convinced me to let this piece of his backstory in because I found it so entertaining that saying no was rather hard. He had diablerized his sire. (Diablerie is the drinking of another vampire's soul thus consuming their entirety.) His sire was named Richard. He consumed a Richard. Incase you don't understand, He Ate a Dick.
But the real reason Maxwell is awesome is through his actions. First off when a member of the group joined late, they both rolled for Predator's Taint. (When the one with a high Blood Potency score rolls to see if he Frenzies and attacks the one with the lower score, and the one with the lower score rolls to see if he runs away in panic or not). Maxwell being of the higher potency lost the roll and was about to frenzy when I informed his player that he could spend a Willpower and try and fight it again. His response "No... no... I'll just go with it." The very first bit of combat in game, was PVP.
The second happened within the same game in which he crit successed a Nightmare roll and scared a Werewolf so hard that he passed out, thus negating an Epic battle that I had planned to take it's toll on the players. I wasn't particularly pleased with this, but Badger was sure proud of himself.
